The Privacy area explores legal, institutional, and technical measures for protecting personal information, a core digital asset, in an integrated way. Building on an in-depth understanding of domestic and international privacy regulations such as the GDPR, it offers a balanced perspective on protection and utilization that safeguards the rights of data subjects while enabling data to create value safely.
The aim is to educate practitioners who can establish personal information protection policies and impact assessment frameworks. Alongside technical safeguards, students develop the ability to operate a personal information management system (ISMS-P), becoming governance specialists who can prevent and manage privacy incidents within organizations on a foundation of strong professional ethics.
